Alpha Systems to Provide Document Scanning Services to Mercy Health System
HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA, Oct. 1, 2014 - Alpha Systems, a leading and trusted provider of healthcare data and document management solutions to major hospitals, health systems and integrated delivery networks (IDNs), announced their partnership with Mercy Health System, a leading healthcare provider providing services throughout the Philadelphia region, to provide daily document scanning services to their 4 hospitals; Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital (Darby, PA), Mercy Philadelphia Hospital (Southwest Philadelphia), Mercy Suburban Hospital (East Norriton, PA) and Nazareth Hospital (Northeast Philadelphia).
Alpha Systems will scan close to 4 million images of patient medical records and load these new electronic images into MEDITECH, giving healthcare providers a comprehensive electronic view of each patient’s record.
